Since the 12th January 1988
Jacqueline has campaigned tirelessly for what she believes in and has suffered the hardships of icy cold winters, blisteringly hot summers with only one goal in mind. To continue in the spirit of Dr. King.
Over the years, Jacqueline has met many thousands of people from all over the world who support her cause. Ordinary folk and famous people have empathized with her commitment and have helped her fight the battle on her doorstep against the injustices of the system.
She has appeared in the press and on television in many different countries, which in turn has increased public awareness to the problems of the National Civil Rights museum being situated at the Lorraine Motel.
